Bettie Curtin Obituary

Bettie M. Sarver Curtin, 98, of Cabot passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
 
 Born November 30, 1919 in Natrona, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ferd  and Celia Kuhnert Sarver.
 
 Bettie worked as a credit manager for Englewood Hospital in New Jersey. She was a long-time volunteer for the Lighthouse, a thrift shop for the blind association in New York City.  She worked in the accounting department for Montgomery Ward in New Kensington, then for W.T. Grant in New York City.  Bettie was of Lutheran faith. She enjoyed painting.
 
 Surviving are sisters, Beryl Harrington of Middletown, VA, and  Shirley Pavlick of Worthington, three nephews and 2 nieces. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Curtin, her brother, Robert Lee Sarver, and one sister, Bernice Sontum.

There will be no visitation or services.  Memorial donations may be made in Bettie's memory to a charity of your choice.

Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, assisted the family with arrangements.
