Brenda L. Shaffer, 53, of Sarver passed away on November 16, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born April 20, 1964 in Albany, GA, she was the daughter of George Bowersox and Mavis White Bowersox .

Brenda had been a baker at the former Boldy's Restaurant. She enjoyed fishing and doing crafts.

Surviving are her husband, John E. Shaffer whom she married October 5, 1991, 1 son, Devin Byers of Saxonburg, 2 grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mandy Bowersox of Sarver and Joyce (Pat) Bolte of Sarver.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Private services are being planned.

Interment will follow in Middlesex Methodist Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
