Bronwyn I. "Bonnie" Hawley, 89, of Cabot formerly of Sarver, passed away on July 13, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.

Born October 14, 1927 in Leechburg, she was the daughter of Richard B. Thompson and Marjorie Ile Knappenberger Thompson.

Bonnie was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She was a woman of strong Faith in Jesus Christ, loving wife, mother and grandmother, and loved to spend time with her family.

Bonnie had been the owner of Bonnie's Beauty Shop in Sarver. She was co-founder of the card ministry at Concordia. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, bowling and crafts and had also been involved in the Freeport Archery Club.

Surviving are her husband, Dwight Ardell Hawley, whom she married November 13, 1948, her children, Marjorie H. Harmon of Saxonburg, Robert D. (Ruth) Hawley of Saxonburg and Lynn H. Chiado of Freeport, her sister, Gail Hoak of Cabot, 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Knox, Kristie Knights, Angela Turner, Nathan Hawley, Nicole Chiado and Carley Chiado and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends will be received on Monday, July 17, 2017, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, 11:00 am at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA, with Rev. Shawn Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Sarverville Cemetery.
