Bruce W. Hostetler, 74, of Sarver passed away on November 1, 2017 at the Allegheny General Hospital.

Born March 23, 1943, he was the son of Kenneth Hostetler and Evora Maust Hostetler and was raised by his grandparents Rose and Charles Maust and his aunt Eleanor Maust.

Bruce served in the US Army from 1961-1964.

He started as a lineman for North Pittsburgh Telephone and retired as a customer equipment supervisor after 38 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver. He enjoyed going to Lernerville, especially watching the sprint cars. He also enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Charlotte (Shunk) Hostetler, whom he married October 3, 1962, his son, Shawn C. (Shelbee) Hostetler of Stoneboro, his daughter, Tina (Tom) Creedon of Renfrew and 3 grandchildren, Cole, Payton and Chase.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, 12:00 at the funeral home, with Rev. Shawn Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Sarversville Cemetery with military honors to be provided by the Saxonburg American Legion Post #683.
