Carol A. Bowser, 64 of Sarver passed away on July 21, 2017 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born March 25, 1953 in Natrona Heights, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Burd and Alice Kelley Durci.

Carol was a graduate of Knoch High School. She worked as an insurance agent for Hallman Agency in Freeport. She was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Sarver. Carol enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, traveling, going on cruises, crocheting and reading.

Surviving are her daughter, Lindsay Bowser of Sarver, her son, Ryan (Amber) Bowser of Cabot, half sister, Connie Durci of Saxonburg, brother, Glenn (Melanie) Burd of Sarver, granddaughters, Lauren and Addisyn Bowser of Cabot, and several aunts and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George R. Burd, Sr.

Friends will be received on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Douglas Dorsey officiating.

Interment will follow in Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
