Denise S. Mellinger, 53, of Sarver, passed away on March 11, 2017 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born April 13, 1963 in Lawrenceville, PA, she was the daughter of Gregory Broskey, Sr. and Deanna (Dressel) Smith .

Denise was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Daniel Mellinger, whom she married November 1, 1991, her father, Gregory (Debbie) Broskey, Sr. of Pittsburgh, her mother, Deanna (Edward) (Dressel) Smith of Shaler, 3 sons, Paul Broskey of Bordentown, NJ, Andy Mellinger of Sarver and John Mellinger of Sarver, her step-daughter, Jill Mellinger of Etna, 3 step-sons, Daniel Mellinger, Jr. of Etna, Chris (Tanya) Mellinger of Etna and Todd Mellinger of Pittsburgh, 2 sisters, Cindy DeSimone of Homosassa, FL and Terri (Wally Danielewicz) Kurpiewski of Etna also her brother, Gregory Broskey, Jr. of Pittsburgh.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Services will follow at 7:30 pm at funeral home.
