Donald F. Christy, 78, of Saxonburg passed away on April 8, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries

Born July 16, 1938 in Fawn Twp., PA, he was the son of Frank Christy and June Shearer Christy.

Don was retired as US Steel Sintering Plant in Saxonburg, where he had been a metalurgical chemist. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sarver a Lifetime member of West View Sportsman's Club, Pollock Lodge #502 F & AM in Tarentum and had served as a Clinton Twp. Supervisor for 24 years.

Surviving are wife, Judith Morrow Christy, whom he married on July 11, 1959, his daughter Laurie (Fred) Street of Saxonburg his brother, Garry (Margaret) Christy of Tarentum and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 son, Jeffrey Christy, his uncle James Christy and 2 nephews Michael Christy and Kiel Boschele.

Friends will be received from Tuesday, April 11, 2017, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. John Porter officiating

Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
