Earl F. Vogel, Jr. 55 of Ellwood City passed away on May 20, 2017 at his home.

Born October 24, 1961 in Butler, PA, he was the son of Richard Hilliard and Margaret Hickey Hilliard.

Earl was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Union Local #9 in Pittsburgh and had worked for Etzel Masonry. He enjoyed hunting, riding quads, camping and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving are his children, Chad Vogel of Warren, OH, Shea Vogel of Butler, PA, Brandyn Vogel of Ellwood City, and Peyton Vogel of Ellwood City, his companion, Jaime Montgomery and her mother, Rose Walters of Ellwood City, his step-daughter, Kylie Montgomery of Ellwood City, two brothers, Paul (Donna) Vogel of Zelienople and John Vogel of Saxonburg, 2 sisters, Jean (John) White of Butler and Becky (John) Howell of Oscala, FL, his grandson, Jesse Johns, many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 pm with Rev. John Porter officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
