Gloria M. Sefton, 86 of Saxonburg passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on May 7, 2016 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries with her beloved husband and family at her side .

Born June 2, 1929 in Moon Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Wilhelm and Mary (Fenio) Wilhelm.

Gloria's passion was her career in nursing. She retired from Sewickley Valley Hospital then continued to work for Dr. Denver (ob/gyn) in Moon Twp. Gloria was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. She enjoyed painting, needlepoint, cooking and caring for her family.

Surviving are her loving husband, Glenn Sefton, who she married June 19, 1950, , her sons, Glenn D. Sefton of Saxonburg and Bill (Beverly) Sefton of Warrenton, VA, her daughter, Debbie Heitzenrater of Economy, brother, Frank Wilhelm of Moon Twp., 5 grandchildren; Michael Heitzenrater, Leigh (Tim) Blain, Seth Heitzenrater, Liza (Chris) Arnal, and Kimberly Sefton-Gray, 7 great grandchildren; Adrianna, Tyler, Caleb, Greyson, Alexis, Kaitlynn and Jayson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stewart Wilhelm, brother in laws and sisters in laws, George and Wilma Sefton and David and Alice Sefton and sister in law, Esther Wilhelm.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, with Rev. John Porter officiating.

Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
