James T. "Tom" Eurich

James T. Eurich, 79 of Cabot passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He battled Alzheimer's disease for 9 years.

Born July 16, 1937 in Tarentum, PA, he was the son of the late James Eurich and Anna (Hauck) Eurich.

Tom was a graduate of Winfield Clinton High School and Penn Technical Institute. He worked for Gulf Research for 47 years. Upon retirement, he drove van for Roenigk's. Tom was in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the NRA. Tom enjoyed hunting, gardening, growing apple and nut trees, collecting knives and spending time with his family. He loved music and the outdoors and nature.

Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Karen (Giesler) Eurich, son, Tom (Kim) Eurich of Cabot, daughter, Natalie (Jake) DeWalt of Medina, OH, 4 grandchildren; Moira (Joe Forester) DeWalt, Maison DeWalt, Hyte Eurich, and Kennedy Eurich, sister, Barbara (Carl) Spohn of Natrona Heights and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.

Services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Barry Keurulainen and Vicar Dagan Siepert officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
