John S. Jerich, Jr., 75 of Butler passed away on April 15, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born April 13, 1942 in New Kensington, PA, he was the son of the late John Jerich Sr. and Mary Jerich.

John was the owner and operator of John S. Jerich Trucking. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, the Saxonburg Fire Company, Saxonburg VFW 7376, Butler American Legion, and RC Men's Club in Herman. John enjoyed going camping, boating and socializing.

Surviving are sons, Bill (Sandra) Jerich of Saxonburg and Bob Jerich of Saxonburg, grandson, John William Jerich, granddaughter, Kristin Jerich, and special friend, Sylvia Plutyk of Sarver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Blose) Jerich, and brother, Lawrence Jerich.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.

A blessing service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Father Ward Stakem officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Mem. Church Cemetery.

A luncheon will follow the graveside service at the Saxonburg VFW, 572 W. Main Street, Saxonburg, PA.

Memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
