John C. Szymanowski, 71, of Butler passed away on December 1, 2017 at his home

Born December 15, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Joseph and Jane (Kruglak) Szymanowski.

John worked as a fitter leader for Peoples Natural Gas retiring after 32 years. He was a member of Holy Sepulcher R.C. Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a lover of the outdoors.

Surviving are wife, Carolyn Szymanowski whom he married April 4, 1970, 2 sons, John J. Szymanowski of Butler and Steven B. (Niccole) Szymanowski of Saxonburg 1 brother Joseph Szymanowski of Naples, FL, and 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew and Emma.

He is preceded in death by his parents

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 am with Fr. Robert Cedolia officiating

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
