John E. Zacherl, 56, of Butler passed away on February 10, 2018, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born May 5, 1961 in Natrona Heights, PA, he was the son of Edward Zacherl and Eileen Brolley Zacherl.
John was the owner of John Zacherl HVAC and was his dad and mom's right hand man. He was a member of West View Sportsmen's Club, the Sportsmen's Club of Forest County. He enjoyed Golfing, camping, archery was an avid Steeler fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and spending time with his family
Surviving are his son, Christopher Zacherl of Butler, 2 daughters, Jessica (Jeff Carson) Norris of Tarentum, PA and Sara (Nick) Urik of Freeport, PA, 1 brother, Edward Zacherl of Saxonburg, 2 sisters, Cindy Zacherl of Lewes, DE and Elaine (Tom) Korbeck of Sarver, 7 grandchildren, Ian, Ethan, Miley, Leela, Dylan, Paige and Donovan, his god-parents, Steve & Pat Paskorz of West Deer, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Anna Zacherl and his maternal grandparents, Earl and Naomi Brolley.
Friends will be received on Monday from 6-8, Tuesday, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, 11:00 am at the Holy Sepulcher R. C. Church, with Fr. John Getsy officiating.
Interment will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.
