Margie M. Zitzman, 89 of Saxonburg passed away on November 12, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born March 16, 1928 in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of James Watterson and Barbara Somple Watterson

Margie was a homemaker. She was of the Protestant faith and a member of Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary for 44 years. She enjoyed bowling, watching the Pirates, baking, playing cards and scratch-off lottery tickets.

Surviving are children, Terry (Carolyn) Zitzman, Sr. of Saxonburg, Patty Swidzinski of Saxonburg and Frank R. (Sue) Zitzman, Jr. of Hebron, KY, 3 sisters, Betty Slaugenhaupt of Saxonburg and Mary Henry of Rimersburg and Peg Schons of Rimersburg, 1 brother, Don (Judy) Watterson of Maine, 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank R. Zitzman on June 20, 2004, 1 grandson, Troy Zitzman and 11 brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company.
