Mary B. Scott, 69, of Butler passed away on May 31, 2017 at UPMC Shadyside.

Born December 20, 1947 in Brockport, NY, she was the daughter of Robert Brew and Margaret Acomb Brew.

Mary worked as a staff accountant and was much beloved co-worker at the places she worked. Her passion and original vocation shared with her husband was farming. She was a member of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church and the American Shorthorn Association. She enjoyed spending time with family, being with her dogs and gardening.

Surviving is her son, Rev. Lee Robert Scott of Pittsburgh, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert P. Scott on October 21, 2011, and 3 brothers, Robert Brew, James Brew and Archie Brew.

Friends will be received on Monday, June 5, 2017, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, 11:00 am at the Jefferson Center Presbyterian, with Rev. Janet Hufford and Rev. B.J. Woodworth officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
