Robert Nixon, Jr., 60, of Sarver, PA, formerly of Arlington, TX, passed away on March 11, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, PA.

Born May 25, 1956 in Angleton, TX, he was the son of Robert Nixon and Francis Drury Nixon.

Robert worked as a Senior Staff Engineer for PRI in Warrendale and formerly had worked as a Process Control Engineer for Vought Aircraft in Dallas for 32 years. He enjoyed sailing and reading.

Surviving are his wife, Cynthia (Owens) Nixon whom he married April 8, 1989, his son, Aaron Nixon, his daughter Haley Nixon, both at home, his brother, Gerald Nixon of Angleton, TX, three sisters, Joyce (Henry) Goetz of Warren, MI, Marietta (Jimmy) Birdwell of Freeport, TX and Benita (Howard, Jr.) Atkins of Angleton, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
