Ronald L. "PeeWee" Lassinger, 76, of Saxonburg passed away on September 20, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born May 4, 1941 in Saxonburg, PA, he was the son of Gerald Lassinger and Sarah Harvey Lassinger.

PeeWee had worked as a carpenter for Local 500 of the Carpenters Union. He was a member of the Saxonburg Vol. Fire Co. and the Saxonburg VFW. He enjoyed sports especially Knoch and the Pittsburgh Team, camping and spending time in Florida and playing cards with his buddies.

Surviving are wife, Terry (Walters) Lassinger who he married on June 25, 1971, his son, Jason Lassinger of Saxonburg, his daughter, Rona (Danny) Dietrich of Butler, 1 sister, Gale Kubiak of Natrona Heights, 1 brother, Gary (Charlene) Lassinger of Groton, CT, 4 grandchildren, Jaylee, Brooke, Jamie and Casey, 3 great -grandchildren, Aryahna, Taigyn and Coltan, many nieces and nephews and his buddy Coty.

He is preceded in death his parents.

Friends will be received on Friday September 22 from 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Services will follow at 7:30 with Rev. Jean Smith officiating..

Memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice or the Saxonburg VFW.
