Sandra L. Bombara, 71, of Cabot, passed away on June 10, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.

Born December 27, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of Edward Leathers and Gladys Schofield.

Sandra had worked as a Postal Carrier for US Postal Service retiring in 2007 after 27 years of services. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, the Red Hat Society, she enjoyed bowling, volunteering at the South Butler Community Library, and was a member of several card clubs. She was great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.

Surviving are her children Alan (Marie) Bombara of Mesa, AZ, Donald (Lou) Bombara of Sarver, Diane (Regis) Weleski of Fenelton and Linda (Fiance Mike Gutonski) Boldy of Tarentum, her brother, Larry (Marcy) Leathers of Butler, 8 grandchilden, Anthony, Bobby, Heather, Aaron, Kayla, Megan, Amanda and Rachel and 6 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles J. Bombara on December 7, 1997 and one grandson, Kyle Bombara on May 30, 2005.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8 pm and Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 16, 2017, at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph R. C. Church.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.
