Shirley A. Kuras, 67 of Hartly, DE, formerly of Sarver, passed away on July 9, 2017 at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.

Born December 6, 1949 in Lock Haven, PA, she was the daughter of the late Max Russell and Emma Jean Kramer.

Shirley was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany Valley High School. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver. Shirley worked in retail until her retirement when she was able to enjoy her hobby of photography and reading. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are her companion, Fred Stewart of Hartly, DE, sister, Beverly Dickey of Mill Hall, PA, children, Ray and Brenda Bowman of Sarver, Lori (Charlie) Cornmesser, Charles Kuras, Jr., John (Lori) Kuras, Lexey VanHorn, Chris (Paula) Kuras, and Jennifer (Mike) Smith, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Charles F. Kuras and brother, James Russell Kramer.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.

Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Shawn Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Sarverville Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
