William C. Milligan, Jr., 73 of Sarver passed away on June 24, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born May 6, 1943 in Kittanning, PA, he was the son of the late William C. Milligan, Sr. and Gladys A. (Grafton) Milligan.

Bill was a US Army veteran. He worked for the Penn Allegheny Coal Company, RAM Terminals and Iron Masters and also the owner of Milligan Excavation. Bill was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of US, Sinnemahoning Sportsmen Association, a life member of the VFWof Natrona Heights, Keystone Elk Alliance, Unified Sportsmen of PA, and Mosquito Creek Sportsman's Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching dirt track racing at Lernerville, being outdoors, being at his camp in Benezette and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his loving wife, Ella G. (Johns) Milligan, who he married November 11, 1966, daughters, Brenda Yost of Erie and Crystal (Heath) Coffman of Freeport, a nephew who always called him "Dad", Michael Timothy (Melissa) Lynds of South Carolina, grandson, Zachary Watson, granddaughters, Ashley Yost and Katelyn Yost, step granddaughter, Kelsiddy Coffman, brother, Edwin (Maryann) Milligan of Hanahan, SC, sisters, Janet A. Loughrey of Kent, OH, Joan C. (Bernard) Cogley of Kittanning, and Judy A. (Dennis) Wall of Dayton, half brother, Ronald Milligan of CA, and brother in law, Blaine Toy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce L. Toy, and brother in law, Richard Loughrey.

Friends will be received on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, 410 W, Main Street.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted by the Saxonburg American Legion # 683 following the service.

Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer Research.
