William Leland "Lee" Zier, 89, of Cabot, passed away on May 12, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia.

Born September 11, 1926 in Sarver, PA, he was the son of the late William Zier and Mabel Freehling Zier.

His passing was preceded by his wife Lois Jean Turner Zier's passing.

Lee served in the US Army during WWII and worked at Pittsburgh Plate Glass (PPG) in Creighton/Pittsburgh facilities for 40 years and retired in 1989.

he was a member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #546.

Surviving are son, William, Jr. and his grandson, Christopher Zier both of Moon Twp, 1 sister, Shirley (George) Bolte of Cabot and 1 brother, Roland (Kay) Zier of Reno, NV.

Friends will be received on Monday, May 16, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 11:00 am at the Buffalo Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Jean Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
