Allen D. Sasse

Allen D. "Deter" Sasse, 83, of Cabot passed away on October 19, 2018 at the Saxony Health Center.

Born May 7, 1935 in Winfield Twp., PA, he was the son of Paul Sasse and Kathryn Savage Sasse .

Deter was retired from Penn-Dixie Cement as a General Mill Foreman. He was a Mason and a member of the Syria Shrine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley (Logan) Sasse of Cabot, 2 sons, Ronald (Debbie) Sasse of Sarver and Russell (Joyce) Sasse of Worthington, 2 daughters, Diane Mahan of Saxonburg and Kathleen Kelley of Saxonburg, 2 sisters, Mary Sims of Butler and Peggy Crouch of Worthington, his brother, Gary Sasse of Sarver, 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 daughters, Deborah Sasse and Kimberly Sasse, 2 sisters, Marie Burrows and Carol Tosi, also 2 grandchildren.

At Deter's request there will be no visitation or services. Private burial was in the St. John's Cemetery in Coylesville.
