Donald E. "Neuby" Neubert, 85, of Saxonburg, died on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Saxonburg, he was the son of the late Fred E. and Grace (Schroth) Neubert. Don was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean war. He started his career as a laboratory analyst at Allegheny Ludlum and then as a lab technician at Du-Co Ceramics. He retired from Saxonburg Ceramics as a lab supervisor and quality control supervisor. He enjoyed camping, bowling, golf and skiing. He was a life long gardener and antique car buff. He was a member of the Model T Ford Club International, the Model T Ford Club of America and a charter member of the Western PA Model T Club. He owned two model T's which he restored and drove. Don loved traveling in his camper and saw most of the US with his wife and children. He and his wife also enjoyed eleven trips to foreign countries.
Don is survived by his wife Sylvia (Weimer) Neubert whom he married August 15, 1959, his daughter Sandra (Daniel) Millett of Cranberry Twp., PA, his son Timothy (Beth Anaclerio) Neubert of San Diego, CA and 5 grandchildren, Danielle, Stephen, Jeffrey, Carson and Miles. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Fred Neubert and one sister, Shirley Brinker.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 5-7 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. Saxonburg, PA.
