Elaine C. McCune, 71, of Saxonburg, passed away on September 13, 2017 at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born April 14, 1946 in Harrison Twp., PA, she was the daughter of Edward Skurka and Catherine Bachman Skurka.

Elaine had worked as a Nurses Aide at the Valley View Nursing Home and also at Benjamin House. She was a member of Butler Life Group in Butler and New Life Christian Ministries in Saxonburg. She loved to do crafts, crossword puzzles and adult coloring books.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Kimberly McCune of Lompoc, CA, Lucy McCune Boehler of Cabot, her son, Thomas W. McCune, Jr. of Saxonburg, her brother, Edward (Marge) Skurka of Mars, 2 sisters, Diane (Jeff) Skurka Norris of Russelton and Peggy Skurka Ackerman of Saxonburg, 7 grandchildren, April Dreese, Tommy Leroy, Ashley and Amanda McCune, Phillip Phillips, Nick Phillips, Joshua Barber and Christian Boehler and 7 great-grandchildren, Serenity, Emmalynn, Stella Rose, Marissa, Isaac, Adrian and Bella.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas McCune, one daughter, Sonya Wade, one brother, Phillip Skurka, one sister, Barbara Daniels and her granddaughter, Sarah Phillips.  She will be deeply missed by her loving family.

There will be no visitation or services as were her wishes.
