Glenn S. "Pete" Vaughan, 86 of Sarver passed away on May 26, 2018 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born October 23, 1931,he was the son of James Vaughan and Mildred McCormick Vaughan
Pete served in the US Army during Korea.
He worked as a engineer for Oberg Industries retiring after 33 years. He was a member of Clinton Presbyterian Church, he was active in the South Butler Community Library, the Saxonburg Historical and Restoration Commission, he was an avid geneologist and enjoyed bird watching.
Surviving are his children, Scott (Nancy) Vaughan of Columbus, OH, Paula Vaughan of Sarver, Susan (Dan) Herper of Largo, FL, David (Danielle) Vaughan of Butler, 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Cody, Kathleen, Tara, Leah, Erin, Marc and Tori, 3 great-grandchildren, Judah, Sarah and Tabitha. and 2 brothers, Alan (Loretta) Vaughan of Los Angeles, CA and Bill (Barb) Vaughan of Vacaville, CA
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Darley Vaughan, on July 17, 2017, an infant son, Thomas Glenn Vaughan, 3 brothers, Ray, Bob and Chuck Vaughan
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Clinton Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Saxonburg, PA, with Rev. Kelley Angleberger officiating.
Interment will follow in Clinton Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Freeport Meals on Wheels.
