Helen Smith, 93, of Cabot, passed away on November 19, 2017 at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born May 14, 1924 in Russellton, PA, she was the daughter of Walentino Mazurek and Anastazia Bazylto Mazurek.

Helen was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. She enjoyed shopping and dressing up until the very end.

Surviving are her children James V. (Mary Ann) Smith of Lyndora, Victor L. (Denise) Smith of Cabot, Patty Jo (Alan) Kelley of Sarver, Carl P. (Marjorie) Smith, of Butler, 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry J. Smith, 1 son, Joe, her twin sister, Stella Chatary and other 7 brothers and sisters

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 22 at 10 am at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Herman.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.
