Martha June Kammerdeiner

Martha June Kammerdeiner, 81 of Mars, formerly of Sarver passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the St. John's Specialty Care Center.

Born June 13, 1936 in Sligo, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Amos Kammerdeiner and Nellie Grace Kammerdeiner.

Martha was a 1954 graduate of Freeport High School. Martha worked various jobs, but she most enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Christian Community Church in Gibsonia. Martha enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading, doing puzzles, music and spending time with her family.

Surviving are sons, Dennis (Lynne) Smith of Butler, Robin (Chrystal) Smith of Huron, OH, Vernon (Joni) Stewart of Sarver, Richard (Estelle) Burris of Gibsonia, and Wade Burris of Rayland, OH, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and sister, Joan Peters of Sligo, PA and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Francis Hindman, Mildred Botzer, Beatrice Myers, Emma Jean Gathers, Louise Botzer, and Donald Kammerdeiner and grandson, Jehrod Smith.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery.
