Mildred Josephine Davies, 93 of Cabot passed away on May 30, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born August 31, 1923 in West Winfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Matthew Puz and Cecelia Stanic Puz.

She was a homemaker and also worked at the Winfield Mushroom Mine. Mildred was a member of St. Joseph R. C. Church in Cabot.

Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia Davies, son, Daniel R. Davies, granddaughter, Kailey Hazlett, grandson, Devin Hazlett, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Davies, a son, David Davies and numerous brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Fox Funeral Home, Inc. 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph R. C. Church. Everyone please meet at the church.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice or to a charity of one's choice.
