Norman Lang Obituary

Norman J. Lang, 81, of Saxonburg passed away on September 17, 2018 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born August 26, 1937 in Saxonburg, PA, he was the son of Joseph A. Lang, Sr. and Minnie Mae Johnston Lang.

Norm served in the US Army from 1956-1958.

He worked as a labor at the US Steel Sintering Plant in Saxonburg until it's closing.

He was a former member of the Buffalo Vallley Sportsmans Club and the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Co. He enjoyed woodworking, painting, gardening, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are wife, Katharina Feige Lang whom he married December 13, 1958, his son, Randolph (Patricia) Lang of Saxonburg, one brother.Conrad Lang, Sr. of Saxonburg, 4 step granddaughters and 7 step great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, John G. Lang, 1 brother, Joseph A. Lang, Jr., and 1 sister, Dolores Jenkins

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

There will be no services.

Interment will follow in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
