Russell A. Foran, 75 of Sarver passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born April 2, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Lawrence Michael Foran and Helen Harcom Foran.

Russ was a US Air Force veteran, serving as a military policeman. He worked as a draftsman and later a department manager for Westinghouse. Russ also worked for the Diocese of Greensburg in facilities maintenance. He was a Mason. Russ enjoyed building, boating, and restoring cars.

Surviving are his loving son, Todd (Natasha) Foran of Freeport, grandchildren, Alexis and Justin Foran, brother, Keith Foran of Grass Valley, CA and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sara K. Foran and brothers, Lawrence and Gilbert Foran.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 9:00 am at the St. Joseph R. C. Church, Cabot with Rev. Mark Pattock, OFM Cap., officiating. Everyone please meet at the church. There will be a brunch provided after the Mass at the church social hall.
