Avis Neubert

 Avis Mae Neubert, 92 of Cabot passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. 
 
 Born March 19, 1929 in Springdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Otto  Berz  and Elma Shuman Berz.
 
 Avis was a graduate of Winfield High School and the Allegheny Valley School of Nursing. She worked at Concordia Lutheran Ministries where she worked as a registered nurse prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot. Avis enjoyed reading and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
 
 Surviving are her loving son, Kevin (Michelene) Neubert of Butler, her grandchildren, Amber (Doug) Rieger of Butler, Shannon Schlumberger of Leechburg, Emily (Matt) Tilden of Cranberry Twp., and  Jason Neubert of Saxonburg, great grandsons, Joshua Tilden and Kieran Tilden of Cranberry Twp., and her son in law, Roger Zier of Leechburg.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Neubert and her daughter, Karen Zier.
 
Visitation and services will be private. 
 
 Interment will be held at Butler Co. Memorial Park.
