Beryl Mottern Obituary

Beryl I. Mottern, 83, of Sarver, passed away on January 22, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born January 2, 1938 in Jefferson Twp. , she was the daughter of Kenneth F. Neupert and Ruth McCloskey Neupert .

Beryl had worked as a head cashier for the South Butler School District in the cafeteria and as an operator at the United Telephone Company. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg. She enjoyed gardening, canning and baking.

Surviving are husband, Berton D Mottern, whom she married August 16, 1958, two sons, Brian (Carolyn) Mottern of Warfordsburg, PA and Shawn (Cathy) Mottern of Denver, NC, her daughter, Nicole (Louie Bernardo) Mottern of Apollo, PA and 4 grandchildren, Erin (Danny), Timothy (Anna), Olivia and Katlyn.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no visitation or services.
