Betty J. LeFevre

 Betty J. LeFevre, 94, of Cabot, passed away on March 4, 2022 at the Family Hospice Inpatient Unit at Canterbury Place.
 
 Born July 28, 1927 in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of Victor A. Sasse and Claire A. Craig Sasse.
 
Betty had worked as a social worker for Catholic Charities. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi-St. Joseph Parish in Cabot, where she had been a Christian Mother.   Betty was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary #778, Lyndora. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of several area bowling leagues.  She loved to dance, watching all sports, baking, cooking and gardening.
 
 Surviving are her son, Gary (Patricia) LeFevre of Cabot, her daughter, Donna (Raymond, III) Wilt of Gibsonia, two brothers, Martin (Donna) Sasse of Cabot and Ronald Sasse of Arkansas, 4 grandchildren, Ryan (Yissel) LeFevre, Justin (Jessica) LeFevre, Gina (Matt) Wolf and Lisa (Mark) Bowling, 5 great-grandchildren, Claudia, Dominic, Christian, Cloe and Mark.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herbert G. LeFevre and her siblings, Lois Cookson, Esther Raith,  Victor Sasse Jr.,  Donald Sasse, Edward Sasse,  Iradell Shuler and Victoria Shuler.
 
 Friends will be received on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 2-4 at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
     
A private memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the St Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church.
