Obituary
Betty E. Slaugenhaupt, 95 of Saxonburg passed away on April 17, 2022 at her home.
Born December 7, 1926 in Rimersburg, PA, she was the daughter of James Watterson and Barbara Sample Watterson.
Betty had worked as a machine operator for Du-Co Ceramics retiring in 1988. She volunteered for 30 years at the Butler VA Medical Center and was volunteer of the year in 2014. She was an avid Pirate fan, she enjoyed bingo going to the casino, knitting and playing cards with her sisters.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathy (Robert J. Steiner ) Caporali of Cabot, her siblings, Mary Henry of Rimersburg, Donald (Judy) Watterson of Maine and Peg Schons of Rimersburg, PA and 3 grandsons, Carl, Michael and Shane.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wendell Slaugenhaupt on December 17, 1994 and 12 siblings.
Friends will be received from Wednesday, April 20, 2022, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
