Carol Ann Wiegand, 79, of Saxonburg passed away on July 2, 2024 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born December 25, 1944 in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Andrew Tomsik and Cecelia Raszkowski Tomsik.
Carol had worked at Zacherl's Tavern, retiring after 43 years. She was a social member Saxonburg VFW Post #683 and a social member of the Sarver Veterans Club. Carol enjoyed NASCAR, the Steelers, crocheting and the relationships that she had with the customers of Zacherl's.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Wiegand, whom she married May 14, 1966, two daughters, Connie (Donald) Monteleone of Cabot and Laura (John) Freehling of Butler, one brother, A. Raymond (Dolores) Tomsik of Cabot, one sister, Linda Canfield of Lower Burrell, her grandchildren, Caitlin, Julianne, Josh and Leah and two great-grandsons, Wesley and Everett.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no visitation or services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Private burial was in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
