Carolyn Szymanowski, 77 of Carnegie passed away on November 21, 2025 at the Embassy of Saxonburg.
Born January 20, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA , she was the daughter of Edgar Peters and Julia Snyda Peters.
She worked as a Nurse for St. Claire Hospital, she was a waitress for Casey's, she was also the best damn telemarketer EVER!!! She was a member of St. Marks the Evangelist Parish. She had a huge heart and loved to donate to St. Jude's and also the Wounded Warrior Project. She loved flowers and gardening, she was a night owl and enjoyed People magazine. She was Queen Mega for The Mega Moo's.
Surviving are her two sons John Szymanowski of Butler, Steven (Niccole) Szymanowski of Saxonburg, two sisters Virginia Peters of Carnegie and Julia Ferguson of Carnegie. One brother, Kurt Peters of Carnegie, three Grandchildren Brandon (Arissa) Szymanowski, Matthew Szymanowski, and Emma Szymanowski, two great grandchildren. Huxton and Brycin Szymanowski.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Szymanowski, her parents and brother-in-law Martin Ferguson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:00am at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish-Holy Sepulcher Church with Fr. John Ferguson Officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the food bank at St. Vincent de Paul.
