Christine Heckathorne

 Christine  Heckathorne, 80,  of Saxonburg passed away on  July 18, 2021 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. 
 
Christine was born July 8, 1941 in Lyndora, PA. 
 
 She operated a in-home day care. She was a member of Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church for the past 19 years, where she had served as Deacon, Elder and helped take communion to shut-ins.  She was also a member of  The Red Hat Society.  She loved to read and spend time with her family, friends and neighbors.  
 
 Surviving are her children, Michael (Jennifer) Heckathorne of Allison Park, Mark (Kelley) Heckathorne of McKees Rocks,  Michele (Jody) Males of West Kittanning and Mindy (Joseph) Caruso of New Kensington, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Heckathorne.

There will be no visitation.  A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021, 11:00 am at the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Doug Dorsey officiating.
 
 Memorial donations may be made to the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church.
