Clara E. Harbison, 98, of Cabot, passed away on October 9, 2022 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born December 21, 1923 in Brackenridge, she was the daughter of Raymond Huston and Sara Seibert Huston.
Clara was retired from the Postal Service. She was a member of the Cabot U.M. Church. She enjoyed ceramics, bowling, painting and bingo.
Surviving are six of her seven children, Sheran Laidlaw of South Carolina, Marilyn Altman of Cabot, Gary (Lynn) Harbison of Saxonburg, Bruce (Chelle) Harbison of Butler, Gail (Roger) Tebay of Cabot and Janice (Dexter) Schnell of Butler, her daughter-in-law, Joanne (Jeff) Stewart of Butler, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert J. Harbison on January 10, 1977, three sisters, Frances Geiser, Marjory Blackburn and Myrna Huston, her brother, William Huston, one son, Lynn Harbison, and two sons-in-law, James Laidlaw, Sr. and Gary Altman
Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 6-8 pm & and Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 10-11 am at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 with Rev. Jared Townley officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
