It is with deepest sadness to announce that on May 20, 2023, the world unexpectedly lost a beautiful soul. Cody Storm Vaughan, 33, of Sarver, most recently of Robinson Twp., passed peacefully in his sleep. Even though he was a tormented spirit trying to deal with all of his past choices and their consequences, he continued to pull himself out of one hole after another.
Born November 1, 1989, he was a 2008 graduate of Knoch High School. He was a compassionate man with a good heart and gentle soul who was born with a caring heart for the underdog. He loved going to the gym for a workout and even through his struggles wanted to eat healthy and dress fashionably. He was devoted to his mom and was willing to help anyone when asked; he was comfortable and friendly around people of all ages.
Cody leaves behind his mother Paula Vaughan of Sarver, a son Greyson, his love Amanda Donolo, half brothers Birch Foley and Justin Foley, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Now at peace, he will be met joyfully in heaven by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his father Vincent Sean Foley and all those Cody loved who also died too young.
He will be missed terribly however we will no longer have to witness his pain or worry about this day coming. His suffering has now been released from his body to return to the giver.
There will be no visitation or services.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the American Diabetes Association or the Gateway Rehabilitation Center, Aliquippa.
