Dallas G. Silvis, 96, of Saxonburg, passed away on December 26, 2020 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born August 27, 1924 in Brackenridge, he was the son of Forrest Silvis and Marjorie Hooven Silvis.
Dallas served in the US Army during WWII.
He worked as a Machinist for PPG Glass Research in Harmarville. He was a member of Clinton U.P. Church.
Surviving are his children Marjorie (Nelson) Kloker of Butler, Kathleen (Robert) Wilson of Chicora and Jeffrey A. (Bernice) Silvis of Sarver, his daughter-in-law, Janice Silvis of Kittanning, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sarah "Kate" Silvis on June 1, 2003, one son, Dallas G. Silvis, Jr. and two sisters, Florence Harmon and Virginia Silvis.
Visitation and services will be private. Burial will be in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Clinton Presbyterian Church.
