Obituary
Daniel E. Kunkle, 91, of Cabot, formerly of Murrysville, PA, passed away on March 3, 2023 at Concordia at Fox Chapel.
Born September 5, 1931 in Apollo, PA, he was the son of Kenneth Kunkle and Margaret Johnston Kunkle.
Dan served in the US Army during Korea.
Dan worked as a Accountant for Monogahela Connecting Railroad, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, Plum Creek Lodge F & AM, the Coudersport Consistory and the Syria Shrine and a former member of the Union Presbyterian Church in Murrysville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Surviving are his wife, Lois Millen Kunkle whom he married April 12, 1954, his children, Gregory Kunkle of Washington, PA, Daniel (Janet) Kunkle, Jr. of Apollo, PA and Christel (Steve) Gray of Edgewater, MD, 5 grandchildren, Stephanie, Holly, Kelsey, Sarah and Collin, and 7 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Gianna, Jackson, Brooks, Holden, Graceon, and Kimberly.
He is preceded in death by his parents
There will be no visitation, private graveside services will be held at the Greenwood Memorial Park.
