Dean J. Brinker, 76 of Cabot passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 19, 1946 in Cabot, he was the son of the late Ivan L. Brinker and Gloria (Freehling) Brinker.
Dean was a US Army veteran, serving during Vietnam. He worked at Napco. He was a member of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church in Butler and the Saxonburg American Legion 683. Dean was a handyman and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his loving son, Matt (Abby) Brinker of Cabot, grandson, Lukas Brinker, and his siblings, David Brinker of Tarentum, Karen (Howard) Reith of Sarver, Diane Chiarenza of Harmony, Denise (Robert) Corbett of Sarver, Renee Hickey of Butler, and Tara (Blair) Harvey of Cabot.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn M. Brinker and a brother, Blaine Brinker.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.
Additional visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 10 - 11:00 am at the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faith Way, Fared Drive, Butler. A funeral service will follow at 11 am with Rev. Richard Jenks officiating.
Interment with military honors conducted by the Saxonburg American Legion 683 will follow in Butler Co. Memorial Park.
