Delilah Constance Moody, 84 of Butler passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born August 3, 1939, in Jackson, MI, she was the daughter of the late Carl Dexter and Arlene Rice Dexter.
Delilah taught doll making classes at home and entered her dolls into contests, winning countless ribbons. She enjoyed reading and traveling.
Surviving are husband, Stuart Moody, who she married January 17, 1981, her children, Debbie (Dave) McCaleb, Leonard (Sandy) Grimes, Stanley (Mary) Grimes, Sheryl (Charles) Hoage, and Naomi (Donovan) Fawcett all of Jackson, MI, step daughters, Jill Ellen Moody of Columbus, OH, Samantha Ann (Bradley) Cothern of Columbus, OH, Michelle (Jason) Moody of Columbus, OH, and Andrea (Mark) Ashbaugh of San Diego, CA, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Carlene Gnath, Blanche (Harry) Rhynes and Shirley Dexter, all of Leslie, MI, brother, Paul (Anita) Dexter of Leslie, MI, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clair and Carl Dexter.
There will be no visitations or services.
Private burial will be held at the family plot in Felt Plains Cemetery in Michigan.
