Dolores A. Hickey

 Dolores A. Hickey, 87 of Saxonburg passed away on  Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Quality Life Services, Sugar Creek Rest. 
 
 Born October 29, 1933 in Saxonburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Seibert  Eckel and Esther Smyers Eckel.
 
 She was a stay at home mom. Later, she worked at Callen's Roadside China as a sales clerk. Dolores was a member of the Thorn Creek United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking bread and cookies. Dolores loved spending time with her friends and family. 
 
 Surviving are her loving daughters, Mary (Ronald) Croushore of Harrisburg and Sally (Arthur) Lingenfelter of Leechburg , 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and her sisters, Marie (Ronald) Riggs of Butler and Kathy (Thomas) Marsh of Mars. 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Hickey, Sr., her son, Merle "Bud" Hickey Jr., 4 sisters and 1 brother .
 
 Friends will be received on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 3-6 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc, 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.
     
 A  funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Shirey officiating. 
 
 Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
 
 Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
