Dorothy E. Thompson, 91 of Sarver passed away on November 28, 2021 at the Allegheny Valley Hospital.
Born January 24, 1930 in Natrona Heights, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Stormer and Alice Stormer.
She worked as a farm wife for the Thompson Family Farm. She was a member of Center Methodist Church in Fawn Township. Dorothy loved cooking and baking, reading and doing word search puzzles, sitting with her cat in her recliner and sitting on her front porch enjoying the nice weather. She took great pride in cleaning the eggs from the farm before they sold.
Surviving are her loving children, Donald Thompson of Sarver, David K. Thompson of Sarver, and Doris (Richard) Kirkner of Kittanning. her grandchildren, Theresa (Tony) Marianna of Sarver, Rebecca Kelly of Sarver, and Angela (Douglas) McMillen of Natrona Heights, step grandchildren, Martin (Jen) Kondrick of Sarver and Sarah (Erik) Pierwsza of Sarver, her great grandchildren, Shelbi and Tyler Marianna, Dalton Kelly, Austin, Logan, and Hunter McMillen, her great great granddaughter, Addison Drum, her step great grandchildren, Emily and Adam Kondrick and Autumn, Samantha, and Allysia Pierwsza, and her brother, William Stormer of Freeport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thompson, her grandson, Karl D. Thompson, her sister, Ethel Sexton, her daughter in law, Carol Thompson and her brother in law, James Thompson.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Robin Swinsburg officiating.
Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
