Edward Boyd, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away December 5, 2025 at the age of 87.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Boyd, his children, Kris Rusak (James), Kerry Boyd (Carol), Keith Boyd (Karen), and Casey Boyd (Jessica); 10 grandchildren, Adam Rusak, Erinn Moran (Colin), Lauren Rusak, Cayla Knight (Trent), Harley Long (Matt), Bailey Boyd (Alex Smith), Keegan Boyd, Declan Boyd (Taylor), Evie Boyd, Carter Boyd and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Gary Boyd (Sandy), his sister Susan Snowberger (Don), several nieces and nephews, and his former wife Nancy Renwick.
Ed was a veteran of the United States Air Force. After his discharge, he spent many years as an owner and administrator of The School of Computer Technology in Pittsburgh and several other post-secondary private schools.
Ed loved his farm in Saxonburg and enjoyed caring for and riding horses. He was an avid runner and participated in many races and several marathons. In addition, he served as a Clinton Township Supervisor for several years and was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Church of Saxonburg.
Arrangements are being managed by Fox Funeral Home. There will be no visitation and services will be private. Memorials may be given to St. Luke’s Evangelical Church of Saxonburg.
