Edward S. Cypher, 84 of Cabot passed away on July 11, 2026 at the Quality Life Services Sarver.
Born July 12, 1941 in Cabot, PA, he was the son of Edward J. Cypher and Beatrice George Cypher.
Ed served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a tool and die maker for Penn United Technology. He was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Church in Saxonburg, and was a member of the VFW Post 7376, he was an avid fisherman of Lake Erie, where he had a boat with his brothers. He enjoyed his camp Eriez in Erie on the lake. He was a huge dog lover and above all he loved spending time his family.
Surviving are the love of his life, Dixie L. Cypher of whom he married July 12th 1968, 2 daughters Shannon (Don) Hart of Derry, Kate (Ross) Ringler of Ligonier, 3 grandchildren Evelyn, Cypher, and Lorelei, two siblings, Ella Kern, Michael Cypher, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Steve Cypher, and Larry Cypher.
Friends will be received Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm with a funeral service following with assistant pastor Jeannie Sanford officiating at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
