Edward A. Janoski, Sr., 89 of Cabot, passed away on March 17, 2021 at the Allegheny General Hospital.
Born March 21, 1931 in Natrona, PA, he was the son of Daniel Janosky and Agnes Stossel Janosky.
Ed proudly served in the US Army during Korea. He was retired from Allegheny Ludlum after 42 years and had worked at Jack's Wheelhorse. He was a member of the N.R.A. He enjoyed watching old westerns, model trains, John Wayne movies, fly fishing, playing cards, watching sports, riding his Harley, playing guitar, going to camp. He loved his grandchildren and his chihuahua dog Daisy.
Surviving are six sons, Edward (Sally) Janoski, Jr. of Seven Fields, Cy (Phyllis) Janoski of Saxonburg, Steve (Joan) Janoski of Saxonburg, Paul (Karen) Janoski of Sarver, Bill (Becky) Janoski of Sarver and Robert Janoski of Tarentum, his brother, Frank Janosky of Lower Burrell, 8 grandchildren, Cy, Jr. (Raelene), Ryan (Melissa), Eric (Ashley), Emily (Ken) Dorsey, Victoria (Zach) Webb, Alexandra (Jeff.) Lutz, Evan and Ian, two step-grandchildren, Erin and Sean and eight great-grandchildren, Tristan, Lilyann, Isaiah, Jeffrey III, Charlotte, Amelia, Isaac and Sonny.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Jane (Moser) Janoski, on June 12, 2017, his brother, Chester Janosky, his sister, MaryAnn Bottles and one granddaughter, Lisa Janoski
Friends will be received on Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 12:00-2:00 pm and 5:00-7:00 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Interment will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11:00 am with military honors performed by the Saxonburg American Legion.
