Elaine Schmoock

 Elaine L. Schmoock, 87, of Cabot passed away on July 13, 2026 at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries. 
 
 Born April 22, 1939 in Santa Barbara, CA, she was the daughter of Rev. Gerald Schmoock and Hilda Pardieck Schmoock.
 
 Elaine had worked as a claim adjuster for State Farm Insurance and as a secretary at St. Luke School.   She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church where she had sang in the choir and played in the hand bell choir.   She enjoyed traveling.
 
 Surviving is her niece, Jennifer Montag of Butler.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marjorie Montag 
     
 Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, 11:00 am at the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot, with Rev. Brian Bocian officiating.
 
 Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
