Frank J. Toth, 97, of Saxonburg passed away on November 14, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born April 13, 1928 in McKeesport, he was the son the late of John Toth and Anna Hoelzi Toth.
Frank retired in 1992 as the owner of Saxonburg Foundry and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church in Cabot. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was a member of the Saxonburg American Legion Post # 683 and the Saxonburg VFW Post #7376.
Over his retirement, Frank learned to play the accordion and became a master of creating stained glass pieces for his family. Frank and Dorothy traveled around the United States and Canada for weddings and sightseeing. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan, and attended all of his grandchildren's sporting events.
Frank and Dorothy were married June 23, 1951 and are survived by their children are Janet M. (Tom) Peternel of Pittsburgh, Frank D. (Dawna) Toth of Sarver and Jeff A. (Donna) Toth of Louisville, KY, four grandchildren, Zachary (Julie), Kelsey (Manu), Haley and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Anaya and Kaira; his sister-in-law, JoAnn (Howard) Ferguson and Patty (Fred) Tolner, his brother in law Joe (Donna) Tolner and numerous nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy on October 20, 2009, one brother Bill and his wife Adeline and one sister Elizabeth
Friends will be received on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 3-7 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.
Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, 10:00 am at the St Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Joseph Church, with Fr. James Kurtz officiating.
Interment will follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Cabot, the Saxonburg American Legion or VNA/Lutheran Senior Life 154 Hindman Road Butler, PA 16002.
